And thats when the use suspensions comes up. Suspension is the use of front and rear springs to suspend a vehicle's weight. Suspension is very important components of the vehicle, and most of us might not know the use of it in our car. It also affect the performance of our car. Suspensions also supports the car's weight, the weight of the passengers, and the load that we might want to put in our car.

Suspensions is a spring that install in our car, usually under or near the wheel which holds most of the amount of weight of the car. The main purpose of suspension is to keep the car's wheels in contact with the road and to provide a comfortable ride for the passengers. When the car turn, brake, accelerate, and even when its just stop, the suspension is in use. Without it, its like riding an old style carriage. It is going to be very uncomfortable, difficult to turn, and dangerous at high speed. It could also damage some parts of the car.

With a suspension the body of the car is like bouncing and swaying in a bumpy road, after each bump it could be very uncomfortable to the passenger. These undesirable effects are reduced by the shock absorbers. Usually suspension are used in sets of four for each vehicle, two in front and two in the rear. And just like other components of a car, the improvements in suspension, increased strength and durability that have made large contributions to steering stability, good handling, riding comfort and safe driving. On the other hand, the function of the suspension is to let the driver control the course of the car through the steering wheel.
